Hypnotherapy can help you to manage your weight naturally and easily.

It can help you to feel more relaxed about eating and about yourself, developing new habits, positive beliefs and a better relationship with food.
The programme is designed to reduce weight gradually and to keep the weight off permanently.

There can be many reasons for being overweight:

* Habitual eating – people tend to stick to habits or associations whether they are hungry or not, e.g. mid morning snack, biscuit with a cup of tea, always having a pudding.

* Emotional / comfort eating – many people turn to food when they are in a situation that they find stressful or difficult to deal with. They may feel angry or sad and reach for food rather than work through the emotion. Often people are unaware they are reacting in this way. Low self esteem and reduced confidence can also lead to comfort eating.

* Past events – these can have an effect on the way you think about food. e.g. being told as a child to eat everything on your plate.

* Unhealthy eating – being unaware of the real content of the food eaten and how it may affect our bodies. Processed high fat, high salt, high sugar foods do not contain as much nutritional value as natural foods and can affect health.

* Food addictions – some people use food as a drug, they suffer from cravings and withdrawal symptoms. This can lead to obsessions and compulsive eating.

The programme of weight management is tailored to your own personal specific needs.
Most people require 4 sessions to work through different aspects and learn the techniques.
Further sessions may be required at intervals depending on individual needs.


The aim is to re-educate the unconscious mind, overcome any emotional eating, let go of any negative eating patterns, work on possible self-esteem issues and to put you back in control giving you the confidence to succeed.

The sessions may involve: hypnosis, tapping [EFT, TFT] to control cravings and let go of negative thought patterns, NLP techniques to help change the way you think about food, visualisation techniques, self hypnosis, life coaching and lifestyle assessment.
